Description
No Money Down is a Maryland-bred, 16.1 hand, 4 year old, dark bay gelding who arrived by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He retired after fifteen races. He is by Baltimore Bob, out of a Partner's Hero mare.
No Money Down has no vices and is sweet and inquisitive. He is in great condition and completely recovered from a minor suspensory injury he acquired in his last race. He is ready to go to work again without limitations!
"Nomo" is VERY sweet. He absolutely loves to snuggle with humans and loves attention. He is still on the higher end of the energy spectrum, but he's a good boy who wants to do the right things for his handler. While we've started him under saddle here and he's doing well, he needs a confident rider/handler who can put him in a program while he gets back into a new riding routine.
He is such a hunk though and is going to be one VERY athletic, attractive horse that could do well in a show home.
Nomo can live with geldings or mares or miniature horses, but is a bit particular about who he lives with. He likes to be the boss but suitable low-key herdmates and he does just fine. He's had several friends over the time he's lived here but can be a bit of a nudge to other horses so he needs tolerant pasture mates.
EDIT: Nomo came in with a decent flesh wound on 9/5. Will update with more information when we have time, but for now he's not currently available until we make some progress healing.
