Unionville Equine has been AtR’s veterinary care provider since 2011. Dr. Mark Donaldson is currently serving on our board of directors and Dr. Morgan Adams is our primary veterinarian. Unionville Equine's veterinarians help us organize rehabilitation schedules for our horses, and they are quick to support us in any way they can regarding our horses’ care and medical needs. Jessica Redman of Benchmark Sport Horses is an established purveyor of retiring racehorses. She buys and sells retired racehorses who are largely geared to future careers as various types of sport horses. While she is in the for-profit sector, she has long valued ATR's work and was quick to support ATR in 2024 when ATR launched its capital campaign.

Beyond The Wire is the retirement program for Thoroughbred racehorses based in the state of Maryland. BTW benefits Thoroughbreds coming from any racetrack in Maryland and is a terrific program that strives to evaluate every horse prior to sending them on their way to TAA acreditted organizations like After the Races. We have been working together to rehome Thoroughbreds in transition since 2017.

Kathy Goodman is a trainer with Pressure Proof horse training. She is an educator and clinician teaching riders how to essentially get out of their head when they're riding and how to make riding fun again, even when your showing or doing other activities off the farm! Pressure Proof’s mission is to promote positivity in the play and coaching of equestrian sport.
