Outwork has moved down to sunny Florida! She was adopted by Susan in July 2024, Susan and Outwork will be doing lots of pleasure riding and trails.

Outwork Empire is a 3 year old, bay filly that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is by Outwork and out of a Rock Hard Ten mare. This means she's a granddaughter of Uncle Mo and a great granddaughter of Indian Charlie, Kris S, and Empire Maker.

Outwork is unraced but was in training and does have timed workouts as recently as February. She was reportedly developing some changes to one knee so her connections decided to stop with her. Surgeon Patty Hogan reviewed the radiographs and thought she'd do well in another discipline after having 30-60 days to let down and settle.

Our vet found her to be pretty clean other than some expected effusion in her knee. She was sound and is just waiting to get some front shoes before being turned out to be a horse. She is very sweet in the barn, enjoys scratches, and is a good eater with no vices observed.
