Abundant Story is a gorgeous, 16 hand, 10 year old bay mare who came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. She raced 30 times and retired a year ago from racing with a bowed tendon that has since been fully rehabbed prior to arrival at ATR.

This pretty mare is by Field Commission and out of a Notebook mare and she was bred and owned by the same connections her entire career. When she was delivered to ATR, her caretaker said she is an incredibly special mare, one of the nicest he's ever worked with. He said that her barn name is "Pixie," and we are enjoying getting to know her so far.

"Pixie" received a good intake evaluation with our vet. She was a little sore behind on concrete but sound on the softer ground. Our vet thought she had a good prognosis for her next career and cleared her to go right into training with us here at ATR. We hope to get her restarted soon! She's not expected to have any hard limitations.

Pixie has no vices and is currently turned out with two other mares without issues.
