"Izzy" was adopted in June of 2023 by Angela. Angela is hoping to take Izzy to the Thoroughbred makeover in the western divisions. She is so in love with her already after getting her home. We can't wait to see how they do!

"Izzy" is a beautiful, dappled bay, 7 year old mare that came to us by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. The first thing she showed us was how classy she is. She is by ArchArchArch and out of a WhyWhyWhy mare. You can't make up these names! Of course that means her pedigree includes horses like Arch, Kris S, Mr Greely and Skip Away.

Izzy raced 29 times and last raced and worked at the end of last year. She reportedly retired as she slowed down. Here at the farm we found she has one very minor, very small, green osslet on one of her front ankles. The vet isn't concerned about this at all for her longterm, she just needs 60 days of letdown and being a horse before she goes back to work without any expected limitations.
