Woke Up In Love is a 9 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. He is retiring after an amazing 46 races making him a war horse in our books! Woke Up In Love is by Woke Up Dreamin and out of a Malabar Gold mare. This makes him a grandson of Holy Bull and great grandson of both Storm Cat and Unbridled.

The ladies at ACT reported he was a very sweet boy with no vices, who didn't put a foot wrong during his 13-day layover prior to arriving at ATR. We were told he has some mild arthritic changes in one knee, but the vet that evaluated him for ACT thought he could still do very well as a riding and show horse, including some low level jumping.

He will be seen soon for an intake evaluation with our veterinarian, but since ACT already had his hind shoes pulled and his fronts reshod appropriately, we turned him out with a buddy so he could start enjoying some much-deserved down time.
