Woke Up In Love is a 9 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. He retired after an amazing 46 races making him a war horse in our books! Woke Up In Love is by Woke Up Dreamin and out of a Malabar Gold mare. This makes him a grandson of Holy Bull and great grandson of both Storm Cat and Unbridled.

Just like ACT reported to us, he is very sweet boy with no vices. They said he never put a foot wrong in the 13 day layover he had with them prior to arriving at ATR, and so far we can say the same! He's been very happy in turnout with two other geldings and is truly very easy to have around.

Happily, our vet found him very sound for his intake evaluation, and he was her favorite of all the new arrivals! Woke did come with recent radiographs that show some changes in one knee, but our vet thought he'd still do well in just about any discipline outside of high level jumping. He has a very ammy-friendly nature that we think will make him a great partner for someone to bring along.

Woke Up In Love is available to an experienced adopter who is happy restarting an OTTB themselves as he's getting some well-deserved down time before we ask him to go back to work.
