Winds was adopted along with her pasture mate Fine Aleigh by Linda in the Bahamas! Linda has a small farm there and enjoys pleasure riding. What lucky girls!

Winds of Fortune is a beautiful, 3 year old, 16.1 hand, bay filly who came to us by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She came to us after her last workout in August of 2023 with a non-displaced condylar fracture. These are one of our favorite injuries to get in as they typically heal without any issues or limitaitons!

Her radiographs were reviewed by the best surgeon in the country as well as our own vet who both believe that she'll go on to a future without limitations. Our vet plans to re-radiograph toward the end of October before clearing her for more activity but she is available as part of our Recover at Home program in the meantime to someone qualified and equipped to finish her rehab, which will likely consist of stall rest, gradually increased controlled exercise, and eventually turnout.

Winds of Fortune has no vices, was perfect for the farrier when she's seen her, and has been pretty straightforward to handle and love on. She enjoys being groomed and we think will bond very nicely with her future person.
