Whatta Notion is a lovely, 5 year old, dark bay mare that came to us directly from her connections at Wasabi Aftercare. She is a daughter of Great notion and out of a Not for Love mare. We've yet to have a descendent of Not for Love that was not nice to work with!

This girl raced 8 times and retired in the fall of 2024 along with Tiz Out of Speight. Like Tiz, she was originally headed toward the breeding shed but owner finances cut that plan short and Wasabi stepped in to see her placed in a program like After the Races.

Whatta Notion had a great evaluation with our veterinarian who found her very sound and, pretty clean other than a small scrape healing on one leg, and had no reason to limit her future. Whatta Notion has no history of lameness or injury and should be able to go in any direction with her future adopter.

Whatta Notion came to us in beautiful shape, barefoot, and with no vices. We hope to get photos and videos of her soon and as she's had lots of time off since racing, she's on our list to get started soon. Stay tuned for updates!
