Tizafastbullet is a 5 year old, dark bay gelding who recently arrived in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. He raced 29 times pretty consistently, and retired as his career naturally began to wind down. He was just gelded on June 24 but seems like a very nice, professional kind of guy! He is by Bullet Gone Astray and out of a Tizway mare.

Tiz had a great intake evaluation with our vet who found him very sound and clean. Everyone who interacts with him is very impressed with his temperament and easy way of going, especially as he was gelded just a week before arrival to ATR! He should be completely healed up from his castration around mid-July and then will be available to the right home. Our vet did hear a grade 1, systolic murmur during his intake evaluation that was only audible on the left side. She said it was very mild and not likely to cause him any limitations and said he should be able to go in any direction!

Tiz is currently turned out in a paddock by himself but shares a fence line with another gelding and the two have gotten along so well (not even a squeal of excitement when they met!). We suspect he'll adjust to turnout with other geldings very easily and we'll do that here once he's fully recovered from his castration.

This is one incredibly sweet gelding who has no vices. For experienced handlers, he's been very straightforward and easy. While he may be a fun project for an adult amateur, there's no reason professionals shouldn't take a look at this guy as well. He's pretty special!
