Description
Tectonic was adopted by Jamee Amundson in Johnston, Iowa to become her next dressage mount. From all we’ve heard she’s doing wonderfully and was even taught how to do a bit of Spanish walk!

Original Post:
Tectonic is a 15.1-15.2 hand, 4 year old, chestnut filly who retired quite the little chunk in July of 2015. Tectonic is well built, in great condition, and has no vices. She has a sweet personality and gets along well turned out with other mares. We think she’d do very well in small hunters, but she is a good prospect for any discipline.
Tectonic pulled a tendon in 2014, had an entire year of with good therapy, and came back to the track in 2015. She retired sound at that point having not shown well as a race horse. We are giving her a month of turn out to be a horse and let down, and then expect she should be ready to start work and explore new career options. Our vet took a good look at her in July when she arrived and thought she had a lot of potential to do well in just about any career.
