Take Your Time is a striking, 15.2 hand, 5 year old, grey gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. This guy was with the same connections from birth to retirement after 33 races, and they took care to retire him at the right time, and sound! This handsome guy is by Fiber Sonde and out of a Great Notion mare.

Take Your Time came to us in excellent condition and was seen quickly by our vet and farrier. His intake evaluation went great. In addition to finding him very cute and nice to work with, our veterinarian found him to be very sound and does not expect him to have any limitations on his next career. We think he'd make an adorable small hunter or even a great eventing partner, though the sky is the limit!

He has in fact been good to handle since arrival and has no vices. He is currently front shod and is getting some downtime to let down, get turned out, and enjoy being a horse. While he's enjoying his let down period, we do not expect him to be with us too long due to his good looks.

Take Your Time is available to the right, experienced home that will enjoy restarting him themselves. If not adopted sooner, we expect him to be ready to go back to work with us around late September. After 33 races, he deserves some time off!
