Sy Dog was adopted by Steve in June 2024. Steve rides with the Potomac Hunt and is going to bring Sy Dog along as a hunt horse.

Sy Dog is a 4 year old, nearly 16 hand, dark bay gelding that came to us directly from his racing connections. Sy Dog is a Kentucky-bred, graded stakes winning gelding that earned $549,050 in just ten starts!

This classy guy is by Slumber (GB) and out of a Scat Daddy mare. This means he has some greats in his pedigree including Danehill, Hasili (IRE), Sleep Easy, Johannesburg, and Deputy Commander.

Sy Dog retired after a minor suspensory branch injury in November. Our vet believes he has an excellent prognosis for his next career and no hard limitations. He has completed his rehab, is turned out with a group of geldings, and is back under saddle and doing wonderful.

Sy Dog has no vices and is ready to find his new person and next career. He can go in any direction!
