Sy Dog is a coming-4 year old, nearly 16 hand, dark bay gelding that came to us in January directly from his racing connections. Sy Dog is a Kentucky-bred, graded stakes winning gelding that earned $549,050 in just ten starts!

This classy guy is by Slumber (GB) and out of a Scat Daddy mare. This means he has some greats in his pedigree including Danehill, Hasili (IRE), Sleep Easy, Johannesburg, and Deputy Commander.

Sy Dog retired after injuring a suspensory branch in November. Our vet believes he has an excellent prognosis for his next career. He is being given hospital paddock turnout until his next ultrasound which should be at the end of January/early February.

We've not seen any vices in Sy Dog and even though he was gelded last Fall, he hasn't shown any interest in mares. Seems like a good-natured horse.
