Description
Legacy was adopted in December of 2022 by Gillian in Maryland. Gillian is hoping to bring her along as a future event horse. She absolutely loves her movement, spice, and sweetness. She also got to go to her new home with Bahamian Benny, which is an added bonus.

Original post:
Successful Legacy is a 4 year old, bay filly who retired from racing through Monmouth Park's Second Call program. Legacy is a granddaughter of both Tapit and Forest Wildcat. She raced 25 times with her last race in July, coming straight to After the Races soon after. She was a little sore post racing but had a good evaluation with our vet and is nice and sound now after having a month to let down! She's not expected to have any limitations.
Legacy has settled in well to life on the farm. She has been turned out with both geldings and mares without issue as well as with our little mini. She has no vices and has been easy to handle and work with since letting down. We just recently started putting her back into work and introduced her to long lines which she's beginning to take to well.
We've had a couple rides on her now and while she tries hard, she's very green, nearly a blank slate. She keeps all 4 legs on the ground and tries for her rider, so we think she'll do great with the appropriate rider/trainer to help her learn the ropes of her next career.
Legacy is currently front shod and ready to go in any direction!
She is available to a home excited to restart her training for $1,500.
