Stormin Heist was adopted on New Years Eve by adopter Makinzee in Virginia. While Makinzee is hoping Stormin will enjoy being brought along as her next partner in the hunter ring, she says at the end of the day she just wants to enjoy a partnership with her new horse. If Stormin decides the hunter ring isn't where she wants to be, Makinzee is happy to go in whatever direction Stormin enjoys. We love to hear that!

Stormin Heist is a striking, 4 year old, liver chestnut mare that came to After the Races in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. She arrived just in time for Thanksgiving! Stormin Heist retired sound after 12 races. She is by Bank Heist and out of a Stormy Atlantic Mare which means she's a granddaughter of Maria's Mon as well as sports Dehere, Storm Cat, Gone West, and others further back in her pedigree.

Heist had a great evaluation with our veterinarian who found her sound with no expected limitations. She is currently enjoying some down time and is currently turned out with a gelding and doing well.

She has no vices and has been good to handle so far. We expect she'll do well with anyone comfortable bringing along greenies right off the track! We hope to get some photos of her soon, stay tuned!q
