Description
Starship was adopted in December, 2016 by Cindy in New Jersey who is using her currently as a low level lesson horse and hopes to use her as well in the therapy program at her farm. They’ve already reported Starship was exactly as advertised and is doing great!

Original post:
Starship Senorita arrived at the end of September from the Second Call program at Monmouth Park. She is 16 hands tall, 4 years old, and raced only 10 times before retiring with sesamoiditis.
We have had Starship evaluated by our vet and while her sesamoiditis is pretty well settled, she does have a fair bit of arthritis in her front fetlocks. We had shoes put on her after arrival and have been riding her lightly to see how much she will hold up to. She is a very easy, push ride in the round pen and ring. We’ve felt comfortable putting our volunteers and less advanced riders on her for walk/trot rides.
This classy girl boasts a pedigree that’s a combination of the blue bloods of the industry. Her sire, Exclusive Quality, is one of the leading sires in Florida. As a race horse, he set a new track record while running against top horses at Gulfstream Park. Her dam has a female line that links directly to one of the most outstanding racemares in the entire stud book – Anka Germania.
Starship demonstrates a lot of that same style and class. Cheerful and inquisitive, she always wants to know what’s going on. In her sweet and gentle way, she’ll push her nose into anything she wants to investigate. She’s a well-made, well-balanced filly who we hope will prove suitable for a pleasure riding life.
