Penny was adopted by Julia in Virginia in November of 2022. Julia is excited to bring her along as her next partner, and two of her barn friends also adopted Namajunas and Kom Here Girl. So all three horses got to go together and continue to live together. We couldn't be happier for them!

Square Penny is a sweet, 2018, bay filly who arrived in February through Aftercare Charles Town. She stands at 15.2 and 1/2″. Square Penny raced 9 times and is by Peace and Justice out of a Friends Lake mare which means she has AP Indy in there as well. She retired with a tendon injury but has been breezing through her rehab and is expected to have a great prognosis..

Penny is not expected to have any limitations after she finishes her full year of rehab. Our vet recently approved her for walk/trot work under saddle and said she can resume full work closer to November without concern. She's only had a few rides so far but has been willing and quiet to sit on. She continues to prove to us she is worth the wait!

Penny has no vices and has been very easy to have in the barn. She loves being groomed, pampered, and is good for hand walking and going on the walker. She’s also been great for our farrier and vet. Really couldn’t say enough good things about her. In turnout she has been turned out with mares and geldings with no issues.

She is currently available for $1,500.
