Speak Unity is a gorgeous, 16+ hand, 6 year old gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. This guy is incredibly well bred. Born in Kentucky, he is by Union Rags and out of a Dynaformer mare. He never went through any sales but likely would have done very well if he had! Speak Unity retired after his 47th race, making him a warhorse in our books.

Unity came to us with reported suspensory injuries in both front fetlocks. We're still waiting for him to have his intake evaluation with our vet, but she reviewed scans sent via email and looking at the images said after rehab, which may take 9 months or so, he should do well in his next career. We'll get more details after she's had a closer look at him after the holidays.

Unity arrived in just hind shoes (pictured) but is now barefoot. He has been very good to handle and has no vices whatsoever. He's a very pleasant horse with a sweet temperament. Hopefully he'll be one that's amateur friendly down the road once he's had more of his rehab time behind us.
