Shimmy found her new home with Domonique in April of 2023 with the goal of doing show jumpers.

Original Post: Shimmering Silver is a 5 year old, grey mare who arrived in March by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is unraced but did have fairly recent workouts. She isby Liam's Map and out of a Lion Hearted mare and once sold as a yearling for $50,000.

Shimmy at one point had a tendon injury and her trainer gave her a full year off on the farm before bringing her back to the track. She just never really got back up to a competitive level in training so it was decided she could go on to a new career.

Our vet did a thorough evaluation and said she is very sound. Confirmed she had old tendon injuries but very small, old, and cold. She wouldn't put any limitations on her future at all!

We're going to get her feet done and then turn her out and let her be a horse for a while, but she should be ready to rock and roll with an adopter.
