Description
Sabre was adopted by RW in Chester County, PA. RW is a show jumper who takes impeccable care of his horses and has already reported Sabre is off to a great start, having settled in quickly and quietly into his new home and routine. We can't wait to see how they do together.

Sabre Six is a 4 year old, 16.2 hand, bay gelding who recently arrived through Penn National’s New Start for Horses program. This guy did not race, but did have plenty of (slow!) workouts at the track so he will be eligible for the Retired Racehorse Project for those interested. He is by Alternation (by Distorted Humor) and out of an Indygo Shiner mare.
Both at the track and since coming off the track he has been a very sweet, easy-going guy to work with. Our vet thought he looked great for his vet evaluation and does not expect him to have any limitations. A PPE is of course always welcome!
Sabre is currently barefoot though may benefit from shoes when in heavy work. He has no vices and has just begun going back under saddle and is doing great. He’s a very happy, relaxed, willing horse who could do well with amateurs as well. See the video below!
