PracticallyMine was adopted in June 2025 by Rene. Rene is very excited to meet him and looks forward to doing whatever PracticallyMine is most interested in. Possibly a mixture of dressage, jumping, or maybe even endurance.

PracticallyMine is a 5 year old, 16 hand, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with New Start for Horses. He raced 26 times. He was bred in Kentucky and is by Practical Joke and out of a Storm Cat mare. While most people know Storm Cat, Practical Joke brings Harlan's Holiday and Distorted Humor into his pedigree.

This cool guy had a minor tendon injury from which he's since recovered. It healed very well and he will have an unlimited future ahead of him! We're happy to share reports or scans with approved adopters who are interested.

PracticallyMine is turned out with other horses (geldings and mares) with no issues, has no vices, is barefoot, and ready to go back to work! He has always been nice to handle and work with. He's very sensible and also a super cute mover!

Under saddle PracticallyMine has been very straightforward for a lightly restarted OTTB. He is ridden in our dressage sized arena walk, trot, and canter and has no vices under saddle.

As long as his adopter takes their time like you should with any OTTB, he should be able to go in any direction without limitations!
