Description
Pot Roast was adopted in February, 2016 by Stacy Pattinson of SJP Dressage in Virginia. Stacy is a USDF bronze and silver medalist and, in her search for an RRP horse, Stacy found After the Races and fell in love with Pot Roast upon visiting. She’s very excited to see how he comes along and we will update here with progress for sure.

Pot Roast is a 5 year old, 16.1 hand, bay gelding by Purim with Dynaformer, Storm Cat and Wild Again lines. Pot Roast retired and came to ATR through Monmouth Park’s Second Call program. He came to ATR with a wonderful attitude, presence, and a desire to fit in to his new program.
Pot Roast seems to have a nice temperament, no vices, and is one handsome devil. Our vet evaluation of him mid October showed he has some arthritis in his right front fetlock which will limit him to a non-jumping home. Some dressage or flat hunters might be okay, especially if someone is willing to provide some maintenance.
We’ve been riding Pot Roast walk/trot/canter and on trails and so far he’s been staying sound and performing very well. He’s got a great mind and a very willing attitude and we know he will do great in a home with reasonable expectations.
