Point Unlimited is a solidly built, 4 year old, bay mare that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. She raced just 12 times. This girl was born in Ontario and is by Point of Entry, out of a Ghostzapper mare, which means she's also a granddaughter of Dynaformer which we don't see too often these days! She also has Awesome Again and Holy Bull on her dam's side. She is a very kind soul and very nice mare.

Point did arrive with feet in pretty poor condition and radiographs showed signs of rotation in both fronts, her right being worse than her left. She has since been thoughtfully shod in glue-on shoes that have helped her comfort level tremendously. Our vet does think her hooves will improve with time and similar, specialized shoeing. Other than her shoeing needs, Point has no known limitations, and no vices.

We have only had one short ride on her before winter really took a turn. Even with four months off and in a big arena with hard footing covered lightly with snow, she was incredibly good. She went right around at the walk and did a little trot. She didn't even give our mirrors a glance. Snow balls were building up in her feet as she went so we didn't ask much of her, but she was very willing, straightforward, sensible, and we think could be amateur friendly or even a family horse one day with some more miles.

She has been turned out with mares and geldings without any issue and is a very easy to have in the barn and in turnout. She loves attention from our varied volunteers and staff. She's also been a good keeper and is in terrific body condition. She is front shod (with glue-ons), fully vaccinated, and ready for a home equipped to help keep her feet moving in the right direction.
