Penn’s Grant – “Grant”
ARRIVED AT ATR:
Grant was adopted into the wonderful and loving home of Nan Matz as a family horse, a role he is fulfilling wonderfully.
Grant is a 5 year old, 16 hand, dark bay gelding who appears black to most eyes. He is a very well bred gelding who came from good connections but retired with wear and tear on one knee that will limit him to a lower key life. Not quite a war horse by definition, Grant may as well be. He exudes class and is looking for a special partner or group to bond with.
Grant comes with a terrific personality, is safe to be handled by beginners, and he is currently barefoot with great feet. He gets along very well with other horses and is a joy to be around. Grant would make a fantastic therapy or low-key school horse. He would do well as a family horse or companion, or low key trail horse as well.
