Description
Patty was adopted by Joan in October of 2024! Joan is from Virginia and came to see him in person and was impressed with his good brain. She took him home with the hope to bring him along as a hunt horse in time. We're so excited for him!

This boy is OVERDUE for a home. He is unashamedly our director's current favorite. That says something!
Patty's Boy is an 8 year old, 16.2 hand, bay gelding, who came to us in partnership with New Start from Penn National. Patty's Boy raced 33 times. He retired after his last race in December of 2023 with a tendon injury, and he's now recovered and back in work!
Patty's Boy is by Reflect Times (JPN), and out of an Aisle mare. This means he has some greats in there in his pedigree! Our vet's evaluation of him found him sound and in great shape other than the tendon, though it was healing nicely by the time he arrived and has since finished healing. He has NO expected limits on his next career.
Patty's Boy is currently turned out with other geldings, has no vices, and is very nice to handle. He was cleared to return to full work and has been incredibly fun to work with. He's hacked around the farm, the training track, ridden in the round pens, and in our grass ring. He's happy anywhere you take him, tries hard, and has the potential to be very sporty! He would definitely be confident amateur friendly!
This is one you don't want to miss! He is so, so sweet, kind, easy to work with, and easy to love!
