Description
Party on the Nile got adopted in February of 2017 by Lisa in Bend, Oregon. Lisa is really excited to bring him home and hopes he’ll grow into a jumper with her out on the west coast. He’ll be in Oregon in good company as two other ATR graduates live in Astoria, and we have another ATR graduate moving to Bend next year! Can’t wait to hear how he progresses.

Party on the Nile arrived at the beginning of October, 2016 through the Second Call program at Monmouth Park. By the same sire as American Pharoah, he has the presence to match, though he lacked the illustrious racing career of his half brother after straining a tendon while training. Party on the Nile is 4 years old and stands about 16.3 hands tall and weighs in at 1415 pounds!
Party on the Nile is certainly sweet and a joy to have around in the barn. He is very playful but attentive and is a gorgeous mover. His fluid stride would take him far in nearly any discipline. Party on the Nile has been cleared to return to work but weather and poor footing has limited our ability to do so. As it is, he’d make a great project for someone who enjoys restarting a horse themselves.
Party on the Nile did come to us with feet in poor shape which have come a long way in the four months we’ve had him, but whoever adopts him should feel confident in their farrier’s ability to continue the process. He does wear front shoes and currently no pads or special equipment. Just needs good farrier work!
