Description
Palace was adopted by Jennifer, a Rising Sun native living in Ontario. Jennifer was looking for a pleasure horse for herself and her kids and Palace is perfect for the job! He moved to Canada in September and has settled in nicely. We’re looking forward to lots of pictures with the family.

Palace Rythm is a 15.2-15.3 hand 4 year old gelding that arrived on 4/19/17 from Parx Casino and Racing’s Turning for Home program. He’s a very attractive gelding who is proving to be quite sweet and well-mannered on the farm, though he will have some limitations in his second career due to a throat condition and some wear he developed in his hocks.
We would love to find a home for Palace where he’d be used as a trail horse or something low-intensity. He could even be a great active companion horse (one that can still be ridden!) for someone. Under saddle he has been wonderful. He is very laid back and brave and quiet enough he is most frequently ridden by our volunteers, including several advanced beginners (under supervision) and older kids. Please be sure to check out the videos below.
It is worth noting that while we allow our volunteer kids to ride him under supervision, he is not suitable for beginners or children unless he’ll be under strict supervision of an experienced trainer, but he would be an excellent addition to a lesson program who needs beginner friendly horses or as an easy-going trail horse for an experienced rider in search of a quiet ride.
