Opening Hours was adopted in July of 2024 by repeat adopter Whitney in Maryland. Whitney is excited to bring him along most likely in dressage and is so excited for her new partner!

Opening Hours is a very cute, 16 hand, bay gelding who arrived in partnership with New Start at Penn National. This smaller guy was gelded in March, about two months before arrival. He raced just 6 times and is retiring sound. Opening Hours is by The Factor and out of a Tiznow mare. This means he has some cool horses in his pedigree.

Opening Hours has been a great horse to work with in our program so far. He settled right in and you would never know he was gelded just this spring. He is easy in turnout with other horses and has no vices.

He had a terrific evaluation with our vet who found him very uncomplicated and in great shape. He has no expected limitations on his future and could go in any direction. He will be put back into work soon, but until then he's available to someone who enjoys restarting horses off the track themselves.
