Not a Bother is a 6 year old, 16.2+ hand, bay mare that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She raced just 5 times and retired with a recent tendon injury. This big girl is by Great Notion and out of a Dance With Ravens mare.

Not A Bother did well for her intake evaluation, where our veterinarian confirmed she had a recent rebow. As it's still fairly fresh, she was prescribed stall rest with some hand walking after a month, and then we will rescan her SDFT around June 24th.

Our vet believes she has a very good prognosis for her next career, though any jumping should be kept to a lower level to preserve her soundness. Active pleasure, dressage, and other non-jumping activities should all be within her reach once she's healed!

Not A Bother has been very good to have in the barn so far, has no vices, and is a very attractive girl. We're sure she's going to make someone an amazing partner once she's recovered from her injury, and she is available now to someone willing and able to help her recover at home.
