No Conversation is a big, 5 year old, chestnut gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. This sweet guy raced for just over a year and never quite managed to win any of his 18 races. The vet that evaluated him at the track found him sound and ready for a new career!

"Nico" is by Frank Conversation and out of a Touch Gold mare. A few generations back in his pedigree you can find Elusive Quality, Deputy Minister, and Quiet American. He's certainly athletic! Our vet found him sound and clean on his intake evaluation and thought he should be able to go into a new career without any known expectations. We're confident he has a bright future ahead!

This gelding has made a good impression on all of us here at ATR. He's very sweet, loves attention, and enjoys being groomed. Definitely a horse that's easy to fall in love with. He has no vices and has been doing well in turnout with other geldings. He's very submissive to other horses and seems to be a bit independent as well. He's shown a lot of curiosity for his environment, even climbing to the top of a woodchip pile in one pasture!

No Conversation is enjoying some very deserved downtime to have a chance to let down and be a horse, but he is available for adoption by someone experienced bringing along an OTTB themselves who enjoys the journey! We expect to start him back under saddle in early April, assuming he's still here as he's a nice one!
