Nami is a 5 year old, 16.2+ hand, bay mare who came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is an incredibly sweet girl who raced 28 times. She was bred in Maryland and is a granddaughter of Not for Love. Since arrival, Nami has been sweet, kind, and curious. She was a good patient for our vet and good with our farrier. Nami has no vices and is eligible for the Recover at Home program (see website for details).

Nami is eligible for the Recover at Home program because she sustained a nondisplaced condylar fracture in early March. Surgeons and our own vet have reviewed her rads and think she will heal very well and have few to no limitations on her future once she's recovered fully.

She should heal up in a matter of months and we will of course update as she progresses. We've had other nondisplaced condylar fractures to go on to eventing and other fun careers, and we can't wait to see what direction she goes in when the time is right!
