Nami is a 5 year old, 16.2+ hand, bay mare who came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She is an incredibly sweet girl who raced 28 times. She was bred in Maryland and is a granddaughter of Not for Love.

Since arrival, Nami has been sweet, kind, and curious. She is a good patient for our vet and good with our farrier. Nami has no vices and is good in cross ties and for baths. She enjoys any attention sent her way!

Nami is healing a non-displaced condylar fracture and is well on her way to having a full recovery. She has graduated from rest to stall walking and small paddock turnout. Recent radiographs show it healing incredibly well and she is not expected to have any limitations once fully recovered.

It can't be understated that once healed, this girl should do really well. We've had other horses with identical injuries go on to event and do endurance and all kinds of directions.
