Naked and Famous is a gorgeous, 6 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He has a big white face and a sweet temperament and is retiring after 19 races. This fancy boy is by Upstart and out of a Stormy Atlantic mare. He sold for $65,000 as a weanling!

This sweet guy retired with a very minor bowed tendon. Recent scans from the track and an intake evaluation with our vet show that he'll be ready for an unlimited second career after he's had time to heal. His tendon is already cold and he's in the hand-walking phase of his rehabilitation now. He's a very nice horse who would be worth considering for the Recover at Home program if you have room and time to give one special horse!

Naked and Famous has shown no vices, is very sweet, and is not expected to have any limitations once his tendon heals. We'll do our best to update as he progresses through his rehab, but he's available now to a home willing to give him the time and TLC he needs. Horses like him don't come along often!
