Mondeuse was adopted in early August, 2023 by repeat adopter Emma who also has Charlie Murray. Emma is looking for a younger horse to start bringing along in preparation for Charlie to take a step down in his work load. She did a beautiful job with Charlie, so we know she's going to do great with Mondeuse!

Mondeuse is a 5 year old, chestnut mare by Big Brown that came to us by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. She raced just 13 times and retired sound. She retired after she started refusing to break from the starting gate, essentially retiring herself from racing.

Even with racing as recently as the end of May, Mondeuse had a clean evaluation here at the farm and is not expected to have any limitations.

First impressions of Monde is that she's a pretty chill mare. She is personable and should bond very well with her person. She stood great for the farrier and vet and has no vices. She's ready to rock and roll.
