Miss Old Bay, or "Chessie," is a 6 year old, 16.2+ hand, bay mare that came to us by way of Beyond the WIre in Maryland. She raced 14 times and retired after her last race in September of 2022. She is by Nicanor, by an E Dubai mare. This means she's also a granddaughter of Dynaformer, which you can see just by looking at her!

Chessie has been very well behaved since arrival and has no vices. She has front shoes and had a good evaluation with our vet. She has thickened suspensory branches in both front fetlocks, with more in her right. Her trainer did retire her because they thought she was irritating her suspensory racing.

Our vet said she's very sound and should do well in an athletic career. No known limitations at this point. We think she'd make a pretty cool low to mid level event horse but she could really go in any direction!
