Description
Miss Fuzzi Diamond was adopted in October by Katelyn in Massachusetts. We are so excited to say Fuzzi found her forever home with Katelyn who is looking forward to spending so much time with her just bonding and enjoying each other's company. We could not be happier for them!

Original post:
Miss Fuzzi Diamond is a 22 year old, 16.1 hand, bay mare who was one of After the Races first ever intakes way back in the end of 2010. While she was adopted and changed hands a few times over the years, we always kept tabs on her. When the time came that she needed a soft landing, we jumped at the chance to bring her home.
Fuzzi was bred in West Virgina and is the granddaughter of Mr Prospector and great granddaughter of Alydar. She is all class. From Day 1 at ATR to 13 years later, she has been a wonderful horse and companion for everyone who crossed her path. She is incredibly kind, safe, gentle, and just wonderful.
Fuzzi is looking for a forever home. She will stay here until she finds it and we are not pushing her out the door by any means, but if you have your own farm and can give her a place to retire gracefully and be a treasured member of the family, we'd love to hear from you.
Fuzzi has cushings but is otherwise in great shape. She is barefoot. She has no vices. She gets along with everyone in turnout and is fairly submissive so will fit in with any herd. She is a been there, done that kind of mare who will happily carry anyone around the ring walk/trot. While she's very experienced on trails, she currently gets excited on trails, giving a little happy jig or power walk along the way. We imagine this will settle the more she gets ridden. She hacks around our farm without issue, super chill. The excitement is only when we trailer her off the farm and she's just happy to be out doing something.
Please reach out to us if you can provide a wonderful home for Fuzzi. She'd be a great non-ridden therapy horse (we just don't want to see her over worked). She'd be a great horse for kids or husbands or friends to sit on in the arena and just walk around, maybe learn how to trot. Even at her age, she still loves attention and loves to work!
