Description
Pasta was adopted in November of 2022 by Tracey, not far away from ATR in Maryland. Tracey was looking for a fun, all-around, partner that she could enjoy taking to some fun shows, on trails, and just generally having a great relationship with. We're so excited for Pasta!

La Sua Pasta, “Noodle,” is a 3 year old chestnut filly who arrived recently in partnership with Monmouth Park’s Second Call program. She raced just 3 times with her last race in May of 2022 and got some down time out to pasture prior to arrival to ATR. Noodle is by First Samurai and out of a City Zip mare. This means she carries the likes of Giant’s Causeway, Dixieland Band,Carson City, and Kingmambo in her pedigree.
Noodle is a very sweet filly who has been very quiet when we’ve done some basic ground work in the round pen. She very much likes to connect with her handler in the round pen and work together which is a great characteristic. Our vet really liked her during her evaluation and said she was sound and very clean with only one freeze-fired old splint which is a non-issue.
Noodle came to us a bit thin but quickly put on weight after being treated for ulcers. She does crib but it is controlled with a miracle collar. Would likely do well with electric fencing. With the collar on, she’s happy to graze all day with her buddies and does very well in a big group of both geldings and mares.
We've started Noodle under saddle now and she's doing amazing. She's a very quiet, sensible, straightforward filly who seems eager to please. She would likely do well with amateurs or professionals alike.
