Description
Indigo was adopted in December of 2016 as an event prospect for Kristin just down the road in Pennsylvania. It was love at first sight for Kristin and we can’t wait to hear how he progresses!
Update from Kristin:
Indygo Knight ( Weasley) and I have just started our adventures together, but he is by far the smartest, kindest, and laziest boy I have ever owned. He will eventually be my event horse, but for now we are just learning about proper flatwork. We will hopefully be out and about this summer. I will definitely keep you updated!

Original post:
“Indigo” is a 4 year old, 16.1+ hand chestnut gelding who arrived in November from Monmouth Park’s Second Call program. This grandson of AP Indy is a handsome, classy horse who has great manners, a calm demeanor, and a temperament that suggests he will be easy to work with. He has a very sturdy build and is in great weight.
Indigo retired this summer after 9 starts. He was evaluated by our veterinarian on November 17th who said he is definitely “one to watch” for anyone with competitive goals. He is VERY sound, a great mover, and has an excellent brain. Indigo is not expected to have any limitations.
Indigo has no vices and gets along very well with other horses in the herd. While he is ready to go back into work, we haven’t yet had the chance to do so but hope to have him under saddle soon.
