Indy went to her new home along with Ducky to join Kasandra's family in Virginia. Kasandra adopted from ATR previously so now she's a repeat repeat adopter! Can't wait to see how those two lovely redheads do in her care.

Indy's Golden Girl is a 4 year old, chestnut filly that arrived to us in partnership with New Start for Horses based out of Penn National. She raced 17 times and retired sound! While she won her second to last race, she's not competitive enough for new race conditions at her level and was able to retire at a great time.

Indy's Golden Girl is by Mineshaft and out of a Flying Chevron mare. In addition to being a granddaughter of AP Indy, she also got some other great names in her pedigree like Carson City, Seattle Slew, and Mr Prospector.

Indy had a good evaluation with our vet. She's expected to be able to go in any direction without limitations and has been lovely to work with. Indy doesn't have any vices at all and is turned out with geldings without issue.

Weather and lack of indoor facilities is the only reason we haven't started her back to work yet, but we believe she'll be amateur friendly with a trainer, but could also appeal to more serious competitors or professionals as well as a prospect for big things!

She's available now to someone with the experience necessary to restart a horse off the track themselves. She's worth serious consideration!
