News was adopted by Maggie here in Maryland. Maggie was looking for a trails, pleasure, companion horse and News was just what she was looking for, enjoy your rides together!

In The News is, probably not by surprise, a daughter of our other ATR graduate News Makin! She is a 6 year old, 15.2 hand, big-bodied, bay mare, just like her mama. She came to us by way of Aftercare Charles Town and is expected to have a good future ahead of her.

She raced 7 times and retired after her last race at the end of 2022. She has had the time since then off to recover from what appeared to be a non-displaced slab fracture. This has since healed without any issues and our vet just cleared her to return to work without limitations.

News is very sweet, easy to handle, and has no vices. It's amazing to us how much she resembles her mother as well. She's a barn favorite with volunteers and loves to cuddle.
