Green Goddess is a beautiful, athletic, 4 year old, bay mare that came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire. She came to us after just two races in which she didn't quite hit the board. She is a Maryland bred girl with some pretty cool breeding as she's by St Patrick's Day and out of a Leroidesanimaux mare.

She has been showing off her personality since arrival. She's both playful and sweet and enjoys being groomed and loved on... and loves dunking her whole head in her water buckets!

After her last race, Green Goddess was a bit sore in her right knee and her connections had her checked out immediately. The great news is that the radiographs looked great. There are no chips or fractures, just some minor sclerosis to one bone that both the track vet and ours believe will settle nicely with down time and leave her with no limitations!

Right now she's continuing with the rest her race connections started and we plan to recheck her in mid-October to hopefully clear her for some turnout. While she likely could go to work sooner, if someone was willing to give this girl the winter off, they'll have one really nice horse ready to rock and roll in the spring!

Goddess has no vices and is already making an impression on us here. She's definitely one to watch if you're not in a hurry to get one restarted, and is available to the right home with the right experience and veterinary support to see her through her rest and recovery period before restarting her. That said, we're in no hurry with her and are enjoying getting to know her!
