Small TB alert!

Gator Twenty Five is a 7 year old, 15.1 hand, bay mare who came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. She raced 7 times, never hitting the board, and retired sound! Gator is by Poseidon's Warrior and out of a Valid Appeal mare. This means she's also a granddaughter of Speightstown!

Gator is a smaller mare and she was sound when evaluated by a great vet in West Virginia and she got a clean evaluation with our veterinarian here at ATR as well! Gator went to a farm with ACT in January to work on putting weight on and correcting her feet which had been in bad shape. She was treated for ulcers in April and then really started putting weight on and looking good. Her feet are also in much better shape, so they decided it was time for her to move on to After the Races for the next steps of getting her back into work and adopted.

This mare has no known limitations and could go in any direction. Gator arrived between a couple big work events on ATR's calendar, so we haven't gotten on her yet, but we hope to soon!

Until then, she's available to someone happy and experienced enough to restart a horse off the track themselves.
