Filippo found his home September 2023. He is a big, sweetheart and Stephanie fell in love with him upon meeting him. She was looking for a horse to do trails and dressage.

Filippo is a 5 year old, 16.1+ hand, bay gelding who retired by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He raced 19 times and earned just over $70,000. He is by Oxbow and out of an Indian Charlie mare.

Filippo retired with a suspensory branch injury from which he has healed beautifully. Both a surgeon as well as our veterinarian have agreed he should have a great future ahead!

Throughout his rehab and of course now that he's turned out, Filippo has been such a cool, chill dude. He's so easy to handle, loves to be groomed and loved on, and gets along very well in turnout with other horses.

Filippo is a dream to ride and is doing walk/trot/canter and poles currently without issues. He's lovely, steady Eddie type that anyone will love, amateurs or professionals alike! Don't sit on the fence about this one!
