Rocky was adopted by Faith in March 2023. She was looking for someone that she could develop over a few years and one day do hunters with.

Original post: Dreaming of Raquel is a 3 year old, chestnut gelding who recently arrived by way of Beyond the Wire in Maryland. He is by Imagining and out of an Include mare. He raced just 2 times and never hit the board, getting to retire sound and as a bit of a blank slate for his next career.

Our vet thought he looked clean upon arrival. He'd just had his shoes pulled and was a little sore, but since having new fronts put on he's been super sound and is starting to show off some fancy movements out in the field.

"Rocky," came to us with some opinions (like being gate sour) but has been working with our trainer now for nearly two months and is really coming along nicely. He'll do well with someone who is confident and consistent but kind. He's still green, but his movement is effortless, his trot and canter are lovely, and he's been started on trails as well. He's the kind of horse who may get stuck now and again with a new concept, but once you teach it to him, he never looks back. He'll do well with amateurs and professionals alike, just no timid riders at this stage in his training.
