Don'tCallTooEarly is coming back to us looking for a new home. He was originally adopted out in the fall of 2025 but has came back to us due to owner financial reasons.

Don'tCallTooEarly is a big, 16.3+ hand, 6 year old, bay gelding who originally came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. He is a bit of a warhorse after running 46 times and reportedly retired sound! This sweet guy is by Real Estate and out of an Our Emblem mare. This means he's a great-grandson of Storm Cat and Mr. Prospector.

Don'tCallTooEarly, in addition to having a name I can relate to, has no vices and is currently turned out another gelding. After racing 46 times, his legs aren't perfect visually but joints all have good range of motion and he's very sound. Our vet found him to be sound but felt with his confirmation may not be suited for upper level riding.

He has settled back in very well with us and loves attention. Don'tCallTooEarly has been good to work with so far, we've been doing some ground work and free movement in the round pen. We haven't had a chance to ride him since coming back but were told that he has been doing dressage, jumping small courses, and some cross country.
