Cookies and Cream is a good sized, 7 year old, bay mare who was returned to ATR in July after her adopter was unfortunately diagnosed with serious health issues and could no longer keep her. She took excellent care of Cookie and said she really enjoyed trail riding and being a pleasure horse. Prior to her first adoption, this granddaughter of Distorted Humor raced 9 times, retiring from racing as a late 3 year old.

Even after some time off, Cookie is going right back to work here without issue. She's a happy, easy going mare who seems to enjoy attention and we believe will make another adopter very happy. While she has a history of trail riding and being a pleasure horse, she really could go in any direction. We're enjoying giving her a bit of a refresh under saddle (she has a lovely canter!) and think she'd do well with confident intermediate riders or better.

Our veterinarian found her super sound and clean on her intake evaluation. She has no known limitations and has a great build that would be suitable to a variety of disciplines (we need to get new photos now that she's 7 - the photos on this page are from her as a 3 year old!). She's currently barefoot, has no vices, and is turned out with two other mares with no issue.
