Catch the Kitten is a 6 year old, bay mare who came to us in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. Kitten raced 28 times and had her last race and recorded workout in May. Kitten is by Blame and out of a Kitten's Joy mare which means she has some pretty cool breeding if you explore her pedigree!

Kitten came to ATR after having a recent slab fracture repaired by renowned surgeon Dr. Patty Hogan. While she had her at her clinic, Patty went ahead and took images of her other knee (usually if there's stuff in one, there's stuff in both). She found a chip in that other knee that was absolutely perfect for removal. Patty said she should have a good prognosis to a mid-to-upper level riding career once healed!

Kitten has shown no vices so far and is a good eater. She's sweet, inquisitive, and has been a good patient. She's currently hand-walking and progressing well. We will update this page again once she graduates to a small paddock!
