Castle of Caylee is a pretty and petite, 8 year old, warhorse mare that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town! This girl raced 54 times, all at Charles Town, with her last race in August of 2024. She is by Windsor Castle and out of an Even the Score mare.

Caylee retired with a bowed tendon. At the time of arrival it was still pretty fresh. The injury itself goes fairly low into the tendon sheath. Our vet injected a few spots with Prostride to help set her up for better success. She's still in the earlier days of her rehab so will be with us for some time.

Personality wise, Caylee was a bit nervous on arrival but has since warmed up to ATR staff. She loves peppermints, has no vices, and seems like an independent gal as she doesn't get upset when other horses get turned out.
