What a face on this one! Captivated Drama is a striking, 6 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. This grandson of Malibu Moon is by Stanford and out of a The Factor mare. Born and started in California he had quite the journey to retiring at Charles Town after 31 starts before coming to us here.

This big guy retired with a mild, high, hind suspensory injury and already had some rest rest prior to arrival at ATR. While these soft tissue injuries often take a good bit of time to heal fully, once healed he should be able to go on to his next career without many limitations. Captivated Drama's most recent ultrasound was on July 1st and we plan to re-evaluate him again after two months of rest, at which point we hope he will be able to get some more exercise.

We were told he is a really cool horse to work with, and he's proven that here as well. He's a very good boy, sweet, and curious, with no vices. While we're never in a hurry with these guys, he is eligible for the Recover at Home program should someone with the right experience decide they'd enjoy a rehab project.
