Calypso was adopted by Rose Walker of New Jersey who both hopes to work with her as a sport horse and also use her for warmblood breeding. We can’t wait to see pictures of her first foal!

Calypso Girl is a big, 16-16.1 hand chestnut mare who is 6 years old this year. She raced til last fall and then reportedly went home with her trainer’s wife who did some retraining with her, including a little jumping. This spring she came back to race and was “too fat and slow.” What was probably frustrating for her trainer is good news for her!

Calypso Girl is sound, barefoot with great feet, and has had a little bit of reschooling. We will be getting to know her and getting on her shortly to see what exactly she knows.
