Big Daddy D R is a 16.1+ hand, 5 year old, bay gelding that came to us in partnership with Aftercare Charles Town. This guy ran 24 times, making nearly $75,000. His last race was in November of 2023 and he has been turned out on a farm ever since.

I know a lot of our local riders will recognize Louis Quatorze who is his damsire. People who know, know. That stallion made a lot of nice horses, and not even just for racing. On his dad's side he has War Front and Arch and some other big names, but Louis Quatorze is definitely worth the mention.

Big Daddy D R had a great evaluation with our veterinarian. It looks like he had an old, lateral, suspensory branch injury that healed without event. He's otherwise pretty darn clean and sound. He's not expected to have any limitations!

Big Daddy just went back to work in mid-April and is doing very, very well. He's very willing, came installed with power steering, and has been quiet and straightforward. He has been ridden both in the round pen and in our big arena without issue.
