Bella Mente is a 3 year old, bay filly arriving to us soon in partnership with Beyond the Wire in Maryland. Bella is by Silver State and out of a Midnight Lute mare. This means she's also a descendent of Hard Spun, Empire Marker, Real Quiet, and Pulpit!

We've been told Bella is a big girl who is retiring after just one race. It's reported the vet at the tract suspects she had a tibial fracture during her race in February. These fractures often do very well with time off and we are expecting she'll need another 2-3 months of rest once she arrives to ATR.

After recovery, she should be able to go in any direction assuming the rest of her intake evaluation goes well. Stay tuned for more information and pictures once she arrives!
